 The White Pines has created a resort with activities for the whole family to enjoy. We are nestled in a mature pine forest, but with many deciduous trees for a stunning show in the fall. We have worked hard at the White Pines to make the resort a beautiful memorable place for you to stay. We offer a playground, a beautiful sand beach, volleyball/badminton court, and horseshoe pits for kids of all ages. There are canoes, kayaks, motorboats and a paddleboat to explore this gorgeous lake of ours. The canoes, kayaks and paddleboat are complimentary with cottage rentals. The lake and surrounding wilderness are our greatest asset. There are thousands of acres to explore on foot, skis, bikes, snowshoes or boats. Our newest feature is a beautiful network of trails covering gorgeous, totally unspoiled country. In the winter the trails are groomed for x-country skiing. For an exciting excursion, there is canoeing down the Madawaska River, a day trip that we highly recommend, or whitewater rafting on the Ottawa River. Take a canoe out, and find one of our pairs of Loons, just to listen and watch them play. Sit out on your deck at night, and if you are really lucky, you will hear the wolves howl on the ridge behind us. This is an experience I cannot even describe to you. Why not go for a leisurely walk along the network of trails and discover the beauty of White Pines for yourself?
