Unforgettable Activities for the Whole Family at
The White Pines Cottage Resort

White Pines is a cottage resort near Algonquin Park, Canada’s largest provincial park, and located just east of Ottawa, a vibrant city with a casino, live theatre, and the Ottawa Senators hockey arena. Adjacent to the Centennial Lake Nature Reserve, our resort offers water sports, a sandy beach, and a volleyball/badminton court. Kids will love our interactive playground with slides, a zip line, and a climbing wall. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are complimentary with cottage rentals, making it easy to explore the lake and spot loons.

Our scenic hiking trails showcase the area’s unspoiled beauty, while nearby attractions include the Calabogie Highlands golf course, shopping, dining, and more. For adventure, try canoeing the Madawaska River or whitewater rafting on the Ottawa River, just an hour away. Nestled in a mature pine forest with stunning fall colors, the resort offers thousands of acres for hiking, biking, ATV rides, and boating.

Brant

I have stayed at the white pines for close to 20 years. The location is perfect. It is just far enough out that you feel like you are “getting away,” but close enough if you need a grocery store or night out for dinner then less than an hour drive will do. The lodge is clean with comfy beds and close to water with electric hookups from the cabin available. The hosts are on site and helpful with any needs that arise during your stay. The cabins have more than enough space. Fishing is always great, and the hosts are eager to help with tips or locations as needed. Plenty of walleye are in the lake although not much at trophy size. The lake has enough smallmouth bass to keep you more than busy fishing and pike can get up to 48” or bigger. The lake is easily navigated except for occasional rock ledges that can damage a boat.
